The Safari Journal : Stories, Advice and Honest Conversations from the African Bush

Whether you're dreaming about your very first safari, looking for practical travel advice or simply enjoy losing yourself in stories from the African wilderness, you've come to the right place.

The Safari Journal is where I share everything I've learnt after years of travelling, guiding and photographing Africa. You'll find practical guides to help you plan your journey, honest advice about travelling as a woman, wildlife stories from the field, photography tips, conservation insights and the occasional tale that probably started with the words, "Well... that wasn't quite how I expected today to go."

Some articles will help you prepare for your next adventure. Others might simply inspire you to book the trip you've been dreaming about for years. My hope is that every story leaves you feeling a little more connected to Africa and a little more confident that one day, you'll experience its magic for yourself.

So, grab a cup of coffee, start exploring and welcome to the Safari Journal. The campfire is always warm, and there's always another story waiting to be told.
